Big News...HUGE

My Vintage Baby is changing its name! GOOD NEWS! It's not just for babies...in fact, there are plans to expand our line into TWEENS! OMG! How cool is that!? Finally, unique clothing...divalicious...for your growing kiddos. EXCITED!! What's the name?? VINTAGE COUTURE! How cool does that sound?! What do you guys think? Excited? I'm so excited as a business gal to be able to share what I love with an even larger market! Endless possibilities! ;) You may have already noticed the change on my website...everything will be transferred to VC officially for the fall season. Guess there is a name change in store for me too...vcDIVA...not sure if it has the same ring as mvbDIVA...a change, will do me good;)

Updates...I Woke Up This Morning a DIVA!

Hey Bloggy Friends! It's been too long! Alot has happened since my launch party! January Top Ten came out...I didn't make it! BOOOO! I was like $150 from being in there...lots of tough competition. I'm always up for a little challenge. One from our team made it into the TOP TEN...Sara Hendricks! Congrats girl...rock star!!!

Onto Feb...there was a contest...I was one of only 10 DSRs that won the contest. We earned extras for our sample line! WOOT WOOT! One of the many perks I LOVE about this company. I earned a blanket, hair bow, headband and doll dress all FREE and this is so helpful for my trunk shows to have these to share with my fabby customers!

End of Feb...wait for it...TOP TEN!! Oh how I missed this Top Ten status! ;) LOL! I was #8! Cassity Reed had a much more glamorous apperance coming in at #1!! Sara Hendricks...Diva Status #2! Another team Supa Star...Melanie Hollingsworth, #5! One more from team Blessed Fabulous...and this is her FIRST season...Kerry Mose #4! AWESOME JOB LADIES! Keeping track?? That is FIVE of the TOP TEN...from Team Blessed Fabulous!!! Holla! What are we doing? We have just this FABULOUS team of ladies...How do we do it? Join the team to find out;) Just had to dangle that...LOL! On this note, I saw a coffee cup that said "I woke up this morning a DIVA!" This was totally the theme for Blessed Fabulous in Feb!

Moving right along...MARCH...OOOOOO, it's a super great deal for New DSRs! We welcomed Mindy Ford to team Blessed Fabulous and she is so fitting right in! She has some serious passion and I LOVE her attitude, personality...too much fun! Can't wait to watch you grow your business girl, and help you along the way! That's what I'm here for...Great job to have huh?! Just helping other people! LOVE IT!

I want to give a shout out to other DSRs that have joined the ranks for this Spring Season...Misty Stermer, I have had such a great time getting to know her and I finally found someone that txt messages as much as I do! LOL!! Kara Stone, after email and phone tag, a missing puppy (found) and lots of fun conversations...so happy to have this Wisconsin girl join the team! I told you about Tara in the Melting Pot post...So excited about this OKC chickie too! Angelique Reiser...Cal-i-for-nia girls, their unbelievable (sing it with me)...LOL! Angelique dove right in...she was blowin' up my phone wanting to learn everything possible when she signed up. LOVE IT...this is just what it takes to have a successful business. Love the way she has applied herself! WELCOME GIRLS!! God has blessed me by putting all of you in my life...I consider you all such great friends and fabby business partners! ;) MUAH! Can't wait to meet you IRL(in real life) if I haven't already!

Spring 2011 LAUNCH PARTY!!!

Have I mentioned that I LOVE decorating for parties! LOVE themes...all things matchy matchy! So the day finally arrived...my Spring Launch! It was a GREAT turn out...10 ladies in attendance...sample sales, spring orders, parties booked and YUMMY CUPCAKES!!! Here are all the details! I had a "gift" for EVERY guest. It was just a little pack of gum...lipgloss/business card and pink notepad. All wrapped up in a mini bag with leopard tissue paper topped of with aqua/lime green tulle!

I also gave a gift to anyone that brought a friend! It was Girl Scout Cookies called "thanks-a-lot" with some cute tulle tied on them.I had a TON of "vintage" MVB...these were outfits from back in the day that my girls had outgrown and I thought I would share the mvb love with my BEST customers and friends!

I also had my fall samples and left over spring 2010 samples as well. Guests were invited to shop these gems! THEN...I offered 2 giveaways for those that ordered from the NEW spring catalog! It went over GREAT! My BFF Christina won an item of her choice at 45% off and another friend of mine, Tanya won a MASSAGE! Thanks to Mr. Hayden for drawing the names and keepin' it fair! ;) I think that these giveaways really helped boost my sales! I had to have a good show so that I could purchase the HOSTESS EXCLUSIVE line for me and my girls! I also got to get their Easter dresses (Vintage Picnic)! LOVE IT!! The food that I served was simple and cheap...just a little cheese and meat tray, chex mix, flavored popcorn and CUPCAKES! Can you tell I'm excited about the cupcakes?! They were AMAZING! They were lemon with lemon buttercreme and raspberry with champagne buttercreme...yes, I said champagne buttercreme! YUM-O!!! Thanks to Amy from Sugary Expressions for knockin' my socks off with this treats!


I also made "green" punch. It was a good thought at first...let me give you the run down. I google lime punch withOUT sherbet! I was afraid the sherbet would clog my drink dispenser. SO...simple enough, I found a recipe with ginger ale, pineapple juice, water, sugar and LIME KOOL-AID! So...I run to my local Target to pick up these few items. My quick little run to the store came to a screeching hault...WHAT TARGET...NO LIME KOOL-AID?! Uggh! Aborted mission Target! On to Wal-Mart...i stop in the produce section first to pick up limes for punch decor...REALLY!? Wal-Mart is SOLD OUT of LIMES! OMGosh! The nice gentlemen points me in the direction of KeyLimes...they're gonna have to work...NOW...the kool-aid. WHAT?! I am so stressed...NO LIME KOOL-AID again! SO...I winged it. The punch was green Hawaiian punch, ginger ale and pineapple juice! It turned out fine, but it didn't come without a wild goose chase! That's the deets...enjoy the pics! A super fun day with lots of friends and even made some new friends too! Yet another reason to LOVE MVB! And I call this "work"!

The team has grown by leaps and bounds...it's time we start having some meetings! Team Blessed Fabulous and Hot Mommas had our FIRST team gathering On Jan 20th at THE MELTING POT! I love me some chocolate. It was a great night! I got to meet some amazing girls IRL (in real life)! I totally consider these ladies my friends and have never even met them! It was filled with TONS of SURPRISES that I had for the team...SHOUT OUTS for some AMAZING team members...and CELEBRATIONS for NEW team members! We started the night out with recognition...I bought some yummy girl scout cookies called "shout outs" and gave those to Cassity Reed and Melanie Hollingsworth for making TOP 20 for the entire fall 2010 season!! WOOT WOOT!

Enough of that...then we went over some super exciting things for spring! Everyone is IN LOVE with the hostess exclusive line! This is GREAT NEWS for business! We had a lengthy Q & A session that resulted in 2 NEW REPS! YIPEE! SO super excited to help these fabulous ladies launch their business! Welcome to the team Tara and Nisha! So great meeting both of you and sharing in your excitement for the road ahead! I know Tara is on her way to being a stay at home mommy!

Stacey and Amber...so great to meet the both of you too! I love how we meet people and it just seems like we have been friends for-ev-er! All and All I would say this first team meeting was Super FUN and very successful! Thanks to EVERYONE!!! WAIT...there's more...I almost forgot that my little Ava made the trip with me AND she made a new friend...Cash Reed! It took my little shy Ava a while to warm up, but once she did, it was a match made in heaven! When I got home from dinner, by the time we got everything settled and ready for bed, it must have been close to 11pm! Ava said "but mom, he's starting to be my BESTest friend!" She wanted to play more...poor thing! Cash is convinced he is marrying my Ava. Her Dad isn't fond of the idea! LOL! Since the introduction, these two want to call each other on the phone and are talking about their next playdate...did I mention they are FOUR! haha! So stinkin' cute!! They played "house" all evening... here is a pic of them going for a walk in the rain! CUTE!!

Supa Sta!

Well, I haven't told you some FUN, EXCITING details of this fall season! I was a top seller...in the top 20(actual number to be revealed later this month)! Anyway, I also made it to TEAM LEADER this season. So, since I had a successful season I was asked to be a part of this video shoot. Not just me...me and Cassity Reed and Sara Hendricks who are both on Team Blessed Fabulous were also top sellers and asked to participate in the shoot! Of course my sponsor Cindy Boyd who is also an MVB supa sta was a part of this as well! All dressed up...there was even a makeup artist there...BIG TIME! LOL! We were each asked to give a testimony about our experience with MVB. This sure was awesome...there are reasons why we do this and why it works...now it's out there for the world to see! SO...feels like I had my 15 minutes! hehe! AND BTW...Addison and Ava were able to participate in the Spring/Summer 2011 photo shoot. Only DSRs with top sales were allowed to bring their children to the model call...my Little divas were chosen to be a part of this exciting shoot! I can't wait until the catalog releases. The video shoot and the photo shoot where happening at the same time...so look close and you will see that my fashionistas also made a video debut! It's so fun to be a part of this company...the opportunity to be so close with corporate and grow my business as this brand grows is something you just don't get everyday! Spring Has Sprung...well, almost

It's that time again...a new line from MVB is just days away from its debut! Check out my Ava in this to-die-for collection Blossoming Days. It's a hostess exclusive. What does that mean? If you want to own this outfit for your little fashionista...you must host a show. It's easy cheesy to host.
On a different note...with the launch of a new line...it's time for me to plan my launch event...theme? favors? food? You know me...all about the FABULOUS details. I am in love with the colors in this outfit, so there, colors decided...lively lime, total teal and classic leopard! FUN! This event is going to be VIP! I have lots of items from my fall line and spring2010 leftover...I am going to offer these at a huge discount and ONLY my VIP customers/hostess' get the opportunity to buy! I am in love with pink clover designs...Amy has made me some fabulous printables...cupcake toppers! So Cute! I have made my invitations...also a design by Amy at pinkcloverdesigns. I am making cute hair accessories to match this outfit for all of the ladies that are going to host a spring show! Just something fun that matches the theme! Those are the details I have for now...I LOVE party planning! I LOVE children's clothing! I LOVE hanging out with friends, girl time! I LOVE that this job lets me do all of these things! Who could ask for anything more?!

It has been a busy few weeks! I hope all of you have had a great time with your families over the holidays! I welcomed a new niece just before Christmas and we celebrated Christmas in Oklahoma with all of our family! Last night I rang in the New Year with my hubby! What a fun time!
